Job Description

North Brothers Ford is seeking an experienced Body Shop Technician to join our High Volume Shop! Potential signing bonus and retention bonus!!! The body technician repairs bodies of vehicles in accordance with factory and dealership specifications, using hand tools, power tools, framing & welding equipment, measuring systems and all other Body Shop necessary tools. Responsibilities

• Determine and repair damaged parts
• Perform welding, soldering, body alignment and oxidizing operations
• Communicate status of repairs clearly to body shop manager
• Communicate with parts department to obtain necessary parts
• Document all repairs performed
• Document all materials used
• Maintain work area in a clean and orderly manner
• Follow all company safety procedures
• Understand and follow federal, state, and local regulations such as the disposal of hazardous waste
• Ensure customer’s cars are kept clean.
• Stay up to date on the latest repair methods and techniques for the vehicles sold and serviced by the dealership

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Past dealership experience required
• Completion of vocational program preferred, but not required
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Clean driving record & valid driver’s license
