Position Description
In this role, you will act as a Senior Advisor to senior management, providing leadership and strategic guidance on project controls, financial analysis, and estimating applications. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Leading the development, implementation, and management of comprehensive project controls and financial strategies.
- Offering strategic advice to enhance planning, scheduling, financial analysis, and cost control for complex projects.
- Creating and managing project scopes, cost estimates, and schedules aligned with DOE/NNSA guidelines.
- Ensuring adherence to DOE requirements and tracking productivity improvement goals.
- Innovating project baseline plans, milestone schedules, work breakdown structures, and spend plans.
- Maintaining and advising on Site Business systems to identify potential improvements.
- Developing and delivering training programs related to Project Controls and Financial Systems.
- Preparing and presenting financial and project information to senior management.
- Leading project cost reviews and schedule meetings, and providing guidance on complex multi-project analysis.
- Serving as the primary interface with DOE-SR and DOE-HQ for technical and financial initiatives.
- Communicating project status, changes, and alternative approaches to both internal and external stakeholders.
Education Requirements
- Master's degree in Business, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field with 12 years of experience, OR
- Bachelor's degree with 15 years of experience, OR
- Associate's degree with 17 years of experience, OR
- High school diploma with 20 years of relevant experience.
Minimum Qualifications
- Ability to thrive in a diverse work environment.
- Successful completion of a pre-employment screening (background check and drug screening).

- Expert proficiency in automated accounting, cost management, scheduling, and estimating systems.
- Practical experience with Site Business systems and strong computer skills.
Desired Qualifications
- Active DOE clearance (L or Q) within the past two years.
- Experience with government construction and P6.
- Familiarity with schedule and baseline development, and variance analysis.
Location
This position offers the flexibility of remote work.

Contract Duration
One year, with the option to extend for two additional one-year periods.
Estimated Hours
2,000 standard hours / 500 overtime hours per year.
Anticipated Work Schedule
6:00am - 5:15pm, four 10-hour days (4/10s).
