- Up to 15% travel within the US
You are: - A senior with an anticipated graduation date of June 2025
- Majoring in Risk Management, Economics, Finance, Business or Mathematics with a minimum GPA of 3.0
- A collaborative teammate with a can-do attitude who enjoys taking a variety of data points and making it easy for others to use and understand
You have: - A high level of comfort with math and numbers
- Strong analytical and creative problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Experience with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft PPT
You will: - Participate in a training program to provide understanding of the organization and Underwriter role
- Be a part of a team responsible for assessing risk and making decisions on an appropriate rate level
- Identify and communicate trends to support key financial measures
- Have the opportunity to work and learn from supportive leaders, mentors and team members across the organization who will help coach you as you develop your professional career
- Learn about Guardian's purpose, values, how we work, and our suite of product and service offerings
- Build a network of colleagues and have a sense of community with other interns and other parts of the business
- Think broadly and ask questions about data, facts and other information
- Be a self-starter - someone who enjoys "rolling up their sleeves and getting things done", has high energy, strong work ethic, displays the ability to work independently, and is creative

Eligibility: - Applicants must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship, now or in the future, for employment-based work authorization. Salary Range $47,230.00 - $70,840.00
The salary range reflected above is a good faith estimate of base pay for the primary location of the position. The salary for this position ultimately will be determined based on the education, experience, knowledge, and abilities of the successful candidate. In addition to salary, this role may also be eligible for annual, sales, or other incentive compensation.
