A Florida (Largo) based boutique aerospace and defense manufacturer with 20+ years of manufacturing is looking for an amazing individual to be our Senior Machinist/Programmer. The ideal candidate is autonomous and mature and can take a blueprint drawing to completion. They must be able to understand and run Milltronics CNC machines and be able to use Mastercam. Haas experience and Solidworks is also very desirable.

You enjoy the challenge of complex units and can be involved in planning and design of components. You do not need to be able to produce blueprint designs, but suggestions and input are always welcome.

You will have years of experience working on aluminum alloys, CRES steel and plastics with tolerances of +/- .001. We want you to think of your work as art rather than manufacturing. We manufacture high quality items destined for great heights, so your eye for detail and perfection is of upmost importance.

You will be able to understand drawings and blueprints, be able to ask questions to ensure quality compliance.

Your role is end to end production from programming, setup, run and final quality assurance. Experience in precision measuring instruments and knowing your quality control standards according to AS9100D.

You want autonomous control of production and prefer to be in sole control of end product rather than a just number of many.
