Job Title: Director of Sales/Regional Sales Manager - A Memory Solution Company
Position Type: Full-Time / Remote
Location: HQ at San Jose, CA
Salary Range / Rate: Base $120,000+ plus Sales Bonus
Responsibilities: - Work all levels of the company beginning at the earliest stages of design and utilize their current relationships in the industry to win business and close deals with key customers as the focus.
- Develop new customer relationships while maintaining the existing customer base. The Director of Sales/RSM will lead the process for major accounts and other members of the company to maximize revenue and strategic value.
- Expand the sales force by finding and signing new manufacturer’s representative firms as well as distributors if needed in order to fuel revenue growth.
- Work independently to achieve goals and be experienced in reporting to and working with senior management. This will include generating reports to management on opportunities and challenges while developing and maintaining an in-depth understanding of customer application requirements.
- Forecasting, weekly reports, and various other reporting methods will be required on a regular basis.
- Will act as liaison between customer and the various Business Units on all commercial issues and provide management on direction and recommendations to close deals.
- Ability to travel up to 50%.
Education and Experience: - Minimum of 10 years direct sales experience with specific experience in Memory & Storage Products.
- Active knowledge in the storage and semiconductor market space.
- Proven track record of success in opening and systematically penetrating new accounts
- Active OEM customer contacts, relationships, and program knowledge
- Tier 1 account experience required.
- Knowledge of SSD, Flash, and DRAM technology.
- Ability to communicate technically on product related issues.
- Previous proven track record of incremental sales increases.
- Ability to manage multiple customers, programs, and projects.
- A sales leader with strong tactical and analytical abilities
- Proven self-starter with the ability to work in a cross-functional, fast-paced environment.
- Proven ability to be a team player as well as an individual contributor, driving tangible results while maintaining a vision for growth.
- Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- BSEE degree or related field and/or equivalent experience.
