We are seeking an experienced Inside Solar Sales Manager to lead our dynamic team of Inside Sales Consultants. This role is pivotal in driving the growth and success of our solar sales organization through strategic leadership, effective coaching, and process management. Reporting directly to the Executive Director, the Inside Sales Manager will collaborate closely with senior management to achieve company goals and uphold high standards of performance and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and growth of the Inside Sales team.
  • Collaborate with senior management to set and achieve company goals and objectives.
  • Ensure the Inside Sales team adheres to and upholds company policies.
  • Conduct training for new Inside Sales Consultants and ongoing training focused on referral generation, product knowledge, sales cycle reduction, and business acquisition.
  • Develop and implement strategic and tactical plans to meet revenue and profitability targets.
  • Lead the Inside Sales team through direct coaching, effective process management, and support on critical sales opportunities.
  • Report to the Executive Director of Inside Sales and work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including the Head of Operations, CFO, and Owners, to align on and achieve sales organization priorities.
  • Establish and maintain high professional standards for the Inside Sales team.
  • Assist operations teams with escalated customer complaints, delays, or construction issues.
  • Collaborate across all departments to enhance the company’s success.
  • Monitor and maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and consistency in sales planning efforts.
  • Foster a continuous learning environment, identifying and executing opportunities for sales process and product improvements.
  • Provide senior leadership with input on the development and administration of sales incentive compensation programs.
Qualifications:
  • A minimum of three (3)+ years of experience in inside sales management, specifically in the solar industry.
  • At least two (2)+ years of high-performance inside sales experience in the solar industry.
  • Must be able to effectively manage and train an inside sales team in a remote capacity.
  • Ability to manage an inside sales team operating across three time zones.
  • Strong leadership skills with a history of developing and motivating high-performing sales teams.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a results-oriented mindset.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence without direct authority.
