M&A Attorney

Job Description: A dynamic full-service law firm is seeking an experienced M&A Attorney to join its team. The firm represents businesses, business owners, and individuals in various legal areas, including business and corporate law, litigation, estate planning and administration, employment law, taxation, intellectual property, and nonprofit representation. Known for providing top-tier legal services without the high costs associated with larger markets, this firm offers a collaborative environment and meaningful client work.

Key Responsibilities:

* Lead and manage mergers and acquisitions from small to large-sized businesses.
* Provide counsel to clients on business and corporate matters, including contract negotiation and strategic planning.
* Draft and review contracts, agreements, and related legal documents.
* Collaborate with the firm's business law team on complex transactional matters.
* Support clients throughout all phases of M&A transactions, including due diligence, negotiation, and closing.

Qualifications

* J.D. from an accredited law school in Alabama.
* Minimum of 2 years of M&A experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

* Strong contract negotiation and drafting skills.
* Experience with business law and corporate transactions preferred.
* Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
