Title: Senior Clinical Data Analyst (REMOTE)
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 Months (Temp. to Perm.)
Job Description:
Manage data management activities, including oversight of external data providers.
Database design and validation
Monitor databases and data management activities daily.
Develop and execute SAS macros and programs for clinical trials, encompassing ETL processes, data validations, statistical analyses, and report generation.
Collaborate in the design of study protocols, focusing on data collection and management strategies.
Support the Data Management and Statistical Programming teams in their activities.
Ensure that clinical study databases are designed per established definitions and standards.
Conduct data automation tasks independently, including software development, testing, and validation.
Coordinate and complete data management tasks with cross-functional teams to adhere to project timelines.
Monitor databases and data management activities daily.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior associates and entry-level staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Skills (top 3 non-negotiables):
Database design and validation
Strong expertise in SAS program and SAS macros
Degree in statistics from North American
Preferred Skills (nice to have)
1. Data visualization tools (Power BI)
2. R or Python
3. Clinical trial in EDC
Education Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, Mathematics, or a related field with 5-8 years of relevant experience; OR a master's degree with 3-5 years of equivalent industry experience; OR a PhD with 0-2 years of relevant experience.
Software Skills Required: SAS, SQL, database design, nice to have R, Python
