Job Description

This is a fully remote position available to teachers located in the US only.

Join us at Huntington Learning Center! We are seeking individuals proficient in both Spanish and English, capable of tutoring in general subjects such as math, reading, and writing. Bilingual proficiency is required. We are looking for talented bilingual professionals that will help students in grades K-12 achieve self-confidence, motivation, and academic success. Our programs support students with closing the COVID gap, re-engaging in their education, reaching their goal test scores, and moving to the front of the class academically.

This is a remote position, and you will work one-on-one with students virtually. After a paid training period to learn our methods, you will spend your time teaching and making a difference in children’s lives. We provide the curriculum and develop individualized programs for each student. There is no homework to correct, no lessons to plan, no meetings with parents or administration - just teaching!

The Opportunity:

• Work with students virtually in a 1-to-1 setting, leveraging Zoom and our proprietary learning platform.
• Engage with students in their native language (Spanish), encouraging growth in their English language skills.
• Focus on classroom skill development, homework help, subject tutoring, and standardized test prep (ACT/SAT).
• Paid training and professional development opportunities.

Hours:

• School Year Schedule from May 1- June 1: 3-8pm CST. 
• Weekend Availability from 2-4pm CST is a plus! 
• Minimum commitment of 6 hours; 10+ hours available.

Requirements Include:

• 4-year degree required. Certification/license a plus.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Willingness to assist with age-appropriate math.
• Comfortable teaching English/Reading/Writing and coaching other subjects.
• Confident utilizing virtual teaching platforms (e.g. Zoom).
• Must be a caring and qualified professional committed to the success of students!
