Overview

The Tools Administrator r ole is an individual contributor position on the Portfolio and Agile Excellence team within SGWS’s Digital organization. The primary mission of the role is to support the day-to-day needs of the users of tools supporting leaders and team members for collaborating around agile ways of working. As a member of a team that consistently adapts and manages change, the Tools Administrator will both support established tools processes, as well as participate in continuously evolving and improving these systems of work and the technical support of them withing the orgainzation. Though within the Digital organization, the Digital Tools Administrator will help enable common tools across all technology delivery teams .

Primary Responsibilities

• Tools Administration
  • Supports the creation and management of Jira Projects, Confluence Spaces.
  • Manages User profiles and Group creation and management.
  • C reates and supports all aspects of Jira configuration including custom fields, issue types, screens, and workflows to create schemes used across multiple Jira projects.
  • Creates automations and templates in Atlassian tools to support process standards, good practice, and data transparency.
  • Works closely with other technical experts to enable integration of Atlassian tools with other products
  • Knowledgeable on advanced use of whiteboarding tools, specifically Miro

Additional Primary Responsibilities

• Tools Enablement
  • Capably facilitates various feedback loops such as surveys and direct team conversations to gather information directly from the user base for continuous improvement.
  • Works closely with leaders aligned to Agile teams to provide consistency in experience and messaging to teams using out tools.
  • Develops creative solutions to complex problems of team collaboration and communication by employing tools and established organizational practices.
• Tools Communication & Training Development
  • Create and maintain information radiators that help users and teams self-service to build comprehension and competence in using available solutions.
  • Gather resources available through product vendors and trusted partners to create clear and useful guides.
  • Develop clear training materials that support organizational specific implementations of tools and integrations

Minimum Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or Technical degree in related field or equivalent experience
• Advanced level experience in Atlassian Jira, Confluence and Miro.

Preferred Qualifications

• Agile team experience
• Certified Scrum Master
• Atlassian Cloud Foundations Certified
• Beverage Alcohol Industry Experience

Physical Demands

• Physical demands include a considerable amount of time sitting and typing/keyboarding, using a computer (e.g., keyboard, mouse, and monitor), or adding machine
• Physical demands with activity or condition may include walking, bending, reaching, standing, squatting, and stooping
• May require occasional lifting/lowering, pushing, carrying, or pulling up to 20lbs
