US Cabinet Depot is a distributor of kitchen and bathroom RTA cabinets that has been in business for 12 years. We are looking for a talented and qualified logistics manager to join our team. In this position, you will be responsible for all supply chain management duties including selecting carriers, researching shipping methods, assessing budgets, and organizing storage.
The Warehouse Operations Manager oversees all warehouse operations, ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and distribution of materials. This role involves managing staff, optimizing processes, and maintaining high standards of safety and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership skills and a deep understanding of warehouse management practices.
Key Responsibilities: - Manage day-to-day warehouse operations including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping.
- Develop and implement warehouse policies and procedures to optimize workflow and improve productivity.
- Supervise and train warehouse staff, ensuring adherence to safety standards and company protocols.
- Monitor inventory levels and oversee inventory audits; coordinate with procurement for replenishment as needed.
- Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, discrepancies, and shipment documentation.
- Analyze warehouse performance metrics and make recommendations for improvements.
- Collaborate with other departments (such as Sales, Procurement, and Transportation) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.
- Make sure safety policies and procedures are in compliance with regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Oversee maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities.
- Enforce compliance with industry regulations and company standards.
- Prepare reports on warehouse performance and present findings to management.
Qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field (preferred).
- Proven experience in warehouse management or related roles, with a minimum of 3-5 years in a supervisory capacity.
- Strong organizational and leadership skills.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of inventory management principles and best practices.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.
- Ability to speak, read and write English fluently.
Physical Requirements: - Must be able to lift and carry heavy items up to 60 Ibs. and stand for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment.
