Department: School of Law Department's Website: Summary of Job Duties: The UA Little Rock Bowen School of Law Records Office is seeking an extra help worker to assist with digitizing and organizing academic records. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
Qualifications: Required education and/or experience: Must be a current UALR Bowen Law student; Ability to follow written and verbal instructions; Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows operating systems.
Job Duties: Training will be provided for the imaging process and required software. Complete FERPA training. Maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information. Prep, sort, and scan hard copy files to electronic images. Complete internal linking of files using imaging software and SIS system. Perform quality checks to verify the legibility and completeness of digitized documents. Understand and demonstrate attention to detail and accuracy. Maintain a clean work environment. Other duties as required.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows operating system. Ability to maintain confidentiality and security of sensitive information. Abililty to work with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, including time management skills.
